Lory Johansson has been a luminary in the field of architectural and interior design for over two decades. Lory’s international experience and expertise accents every project with a tasteful universality and cosmopolitan elegance.
She is easily able to realize her clients' wild and diverse dreams with the elegance and style befitting her company's reputation. Working "off the grid" in exotic locales in Indonesia, Mexico, and the Caribbean has enabled her to become-through both desire and necessity-a pioneer in the field of green design. Experienced in both commercial and residential design, Lory never fails to create living spaces that maximize creativity, comfort, and a true sense of place.
Prior to joining the Just Joh team, Lory was co-President of the international design group Ergo Design Works. She earned her degree in mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Notable past projects include The BB King Blues Bar at Los Angeles’ Citywalk; The House of Blues, Los Angeles; and Richard Branson's Carribbean getaway, Necker Island.
Mats Johansson has worked in commercial and high-end residential architecture for past two decades and brings with him an extensive history in project management and ground-up construction. Johansson's incredible attention to detail gives each project a polished perfection; coordinating the architecture style with interior design allows him to successfully achieve the client's vision.
Johansson served as an architectural team leader on the ground-up construction of several multi-unit residential hotel projects in California and Arizona.
Johansson earned his Masters in Architecture from the University of Lund, Sweden with thesis mentored by Hans Asplund. This degree included one year of graduate Urban Design study projects at the UCLA School of Architecture taught by Jurg Lang and Tim Vreeland.
